User-testing reports
HRIS carry out or commission user-testing to find out if newly developed information meets the needs of the target audience. Their views can then help us redraft the information to make it more appropriate.

Bereavement
- In 2011, HRIS commissioned Carole Millar Research to user-test patient information about bereavement. This was done as part of the Scottish Government Bereavement Framework Project work. You can get a copy of the report here.

Resuscitation (children)
- In 2010, HRIS commissioned Carole Millar Research to user-test
information for carers and families who may have to make a decision
about a child's resuscitation. This information was produced as part of
the development of the NHSScotland resuscitation planning for children
