Health Rights Information Scotland is on the move!
HRIS will transfer to NHS 24 Contact Centre in Clydebank on 1 August 2012, but the team's last day at Consumer Focus Scotland will be 27 July 2012.
This move has been made necessary by changes in government policy, both the Scottish and the UK governments. The UK Government has decided to close down Consumer Focus Scotland (with most of its functions transferring to Citizens Advice Scotland) and the Scottish Government has made plans for how they wish NHS 24 to develop as the delivery platform for patient information.
We will continue to deliver our current work plan, and much of our efforts right now are around the development of The Charter of Patients and Responsibilities and supporting information.
