New confidentiality poster for young people
HRIS and NHS Health Scotland have been working together to design a poster that reassures young people about their right to a confidential service from the NHS.
The poster campaign was launched at a GP practice in Inverness on 7 October 2009 as part of the Walk the Talk initiative. The campaign pack was distributed to primary care sites across Scotland in October - it included the poster, credit card sized resources for young people, and several Walk the Talk resources aimed at primary care service providers to support them in making their services youth-friendly.
Young people who see the poster are invited to visit this website for more information. We have recently revised our information about confidentiality for under 16s which is now available as a downloadable factsheet. The information about confidentiality for people aged 16 and over was also updated this year and is available in several alternative formats.
