Our network

What is the HRIS network

It's a network of people who are interested in patient information and health rights. There are currently about 400 members, and more than half the members work for the NHS.

Who can join?

Anyone who has an interest in the work we do can become a member.

What happens if I join?

  • If you become a member, you will receive our quarterly newsletter by email. This gives updates on our work, and includes information about events and interesting developments in the world of consumer health information. You can unsubscribe at any time and your details are protected by our privacy policy. Our newsletters are also avaiable in the News and events section of this website.
  • As a member, you can also choose to get involved in our work. Over the past few months, network members have been invited for their views on new icons for our website, and for suggestions of pieces of work to include in our workplan.
  • Membership is free.

How can I join?

  • If you would like to become a member, all you need to do is subscribe to our newsletter.
  • We will then contact you asking for more information about you, and about how you would like to be involved in our work.
